As a host nation, France, within the framework of the European Tactical Airlift Programme (ETAP) and under the coordination of the European Tactical Airlift Centre (ETAC) with the support of the EATC, an Advanced Tactical Flying Course has been successfully conducted at the Aérienne 105 Air Base in Évreux, aimed at acquiring the capability of Element Leader, enabling the leadership of 2 or 3 aircraft missions.

The course ran from April 27 to May 9. It involved six crews and aircraft from Germany, Spain, France, and Italy, reaffirming the multinational commitment to enhancing tactical capabilities in European military airlift.

Although this is one of the most demanding courses in the project, all participating crews have successfully completed it. The training in tactical element leadership has been based on the standardization of procedures and the execution of missions in complex environments, directly contributing to the objectives of interoperability, doctrinal cohesion, and operational effectiveness promoted by ETAC.

Courses like this one represent a pillar in the common tactical preparation of the participating nations, strengthening not only their individual capabilities but also their joint response to real multinational scenarios.
