The first course of the European Tactical Air Transport Programme (ETAP) for 2026 will begin on 22th February. The course, organised by the European Tactical Air Transport Centre (ETAC) at Zaragoza Air Base, will run until 6th March, the scheduled date for the withdrawal of the participating crews.

This edition will feature the participation of Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Romania and Spain, as part of the 14 European countries that participate in the ETAP programme.

The purpose of this training is to strengthen the tactical capabilities of air transport crews and to standardise common procedures through advanced training aimed at improving interoperability in increasingly demanding operational scenarios.

In a strategic environment that is becoming more and more demanding, the ability to interoperate and the cohesion of European allies is essential to adapt to new threats and respond effectively, safely and decisively.
