Successful Completion of the Latest ETAP-I Course in Wunstorf, Germany
Pilots from Germany, Spain, Lithuania, and Portugal have successfully completed the Tactical Instructor Course (ETAP-I 24-5) held in Wunstorf, Germany, from November 12 to 15, 2024. This intensive four-day course brought together selected pilots from various European nations to receive advanced tactical training in the operation of transport aircraft and their capabilities, in accordance with the European Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (ETTP).
Strengthening International Cooperation
This course marks the conclusion of an intense year within the European Tactical Airlift Programme, with the essential support of Germany as the host nation. Throughout the four-day course, participants are trained to assist crews as tactical instructors during flight preparation for the program. At the end of each flight, TacIPs (Tactical Instructor Pilots) assess crew performance according to the program’s requirements. Additionally, these instructors contribute to the harmonization and standardization of crew operating procedures, preparing them to operate both in combined and joint multinational operations.
