The OPS Cell is the central point regarding scheduled issues related to the training period such as tasking the assigned airlift assets. This also encompasses all tasks supporting the operational training activity.
In close coordination with the Training Supervisor, the OPS Cell and RPS Officer is responsible for the preparation of the missions, the assessment of training requirements and to deliver the Daily Ground Orders to the OIC/Crew for execution of the missions and training activities. He/she is also responsible for the management of the flying missions once the mission has been transfer from PLANS to OPS issuing the required Daily Flight Orders (ATO) changes.
The Chief OPS acts in close coordination with the Training Supervisor to consolidate the planning of the missions according to the training requirements.
